This is the response of the JNT Association, trading as Janet, to Ofcom’s consultation on the revised draft Initial Obligations Code under the Digital Economy Act 2010. The Internet's ability to reproduce material perfectly, globally and at very low cost challenges some of the assumptions on which the system of Intellectual Property Rights (copyright, trademark, etc.) is based. A number of consultations have taken place to try to address these challenges
