Head of Networks and Security

Oliver Gorwits is Head of Networks and Security at the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts, and previously managed backbone networks at the University of Oxford. He has a keen interest in using network management and monitoring as a way to help NOC staff become more effective and efficient. For several years he has contributed to open source network applications, especially Netdisco and the SNMP::Info Perl library.
