This advisory is relevant to all eduroam(UK) Home (IdP) and Visited (SP) service organisations. It describes the measure being implemented by eduroam(UK) to ensure that the Operator-Name attribute is included in all authentication requests that are received by Home organisations - thereby making troubleshooting and security response investigations easier. The measure involves injecting the O-N into authentication requests sent to the NRPS from Visited member sites where O-N is not already inserted by the Visited site. No action is required.
