Appeals

Registrars will be advised of the reasons where domain name requests are rejected by the Welsh Naming and Approvals Committee. It is the responsibility of the Registrar to ensure that they pass this information back to their customer.

If it is felt that the rejection is unjustified, and all relevant detailed information for the domain name request has already been submitted with the template application, then an appeal may be lodged. This should be sent by the Registrar concerned, on behalf of their customer, to domains@jisc.ac.uk with full details as to why the domain name request should be permitted. The appeal will be considered and a reply sent to the Registrar.
