User Points

Your user points will be shown in your user profile as well as the reason for gaining the points. Your points will appear on your user name which is on the site next to your content.

Do points mean prizes?
I have emailed Janet about this, i was also curious what they could be used against.
edit: Just found out these are not redeemable but instead can be used to guage a users activity and the more points the more involved in the community / more experienced your reply.
